A UK-made New Balance 1500 inspired by an obscure mid-2000s model. What more could we want?

For the seasoned New Balance aficionado (aka: nerd) the colourway will be immediately recognisable as that of the New Balance 2040. If you didn't spot it then don't worry. it probably just means you're more well-adjusted.

The deep charcoal grey nubuck. navy blue accents and pops of red are all lifted from the flagship Made in USA model which was on the market in 2012. This short-lived series garnered a cult following in Japan but it wasn't enough to save the $450 model.
